I’ve been serious about photography for the past few years. Unlike most, I started to hone my skills through underwater photography.

While there are significant technical differences between shooting underwater and on land, the creative basics are the same: composition, mood, color, lighting, and more.

As with all art, photographs should strive to evoke an emotional response from the viewer. Is a picture worth a thousand words? I’d settle for one hundred.
